Privacy Policy
This is a baseline privacy policy and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed lawyer in your jurisdiction — human legal review is recommended before commercial reliance.
What we collect
- Usage data: pages visited, referring pages, device/browser type, and approximate location, typically via privacy-respecting analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies: to remember your theme/language preference, measure site usage, and track affiliate referrals to brokers (so a broker partner knows a signup came from FinPip).
- Information you provide directly: if you contact us by email, we retain that correspondence to respond to you.
How we use it
We use this data to operate and improve the site, understand which content is useful, diagnose technical issues, and attribute affiliate referrals to our broker partners. We do not sell your personal data.
Third parties
We may use third-party services for analytics, display advertising, and affiliate tracking. These providers may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. Broker affiliate links take you to the broker's own website, which has its own separate privacy policy — FinPip is not responsible for a third-party broker's data practices.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing (for example under the EU/UK GDPR). To exercise these rights, contact privacy@finpip.com.
Data retention
We retain data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as required by law.
Children
FinPip's content is intended for adults and is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last reviewed" date on this page.
